Bottlefish and Tocaya Organica are two of my favorite go-to dining spots in LA for healthy eating. Both restaurants recently announced some innovations that I wanted to share with you.

Bottlefish just launched their new lunch menu to include Poke Bowls, Rice Bowls, Small Plates (there’s even spicy tuna on crispy black rice), a new Lobster Cobb Salad, a Daily Grilled Fish entree and Toasts & Tacos & Sandwiches.

Bottlefishbrings a new midday dining option to Los Angeles’ Westside with a wide selection of sharable small plates, rice bowls, salads, sandwiches, and other seafood favorites. Expanding beyond happy hour and dinner, Bottlefish is now open for lunch starting at 11:30 a.m. Monday – Friday and will begin offering its new lunch menu on Saturdays, starting September 7. From seasoned restaurateurs Rick Rosenfield and Larry Flax, the co-founding team behind the wildly successful California Pizza Kitchen, Bottlefish is perfect for a quick lunch, take-out option, corporate lunch meetings, or an afternoon escape. Bottlefish attains the rare balance of upscale yet approachable not only with a menu comprised of familiar and new chef-driven plates, but also with its combination of airy indoor space and expansive outdoor patio seating. For added flexibility, the new lunch menu can also be ordered and delivered through Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates, and Office Express.

Tocaya Organica founders announce Wave Tank initiative.

The founders of Tocaya Organica form the Tocaya Life Foundation, representing a commitment to the environment and to this community. So now you can eat yummy food and support local charities who do good in our community at the same time! I;m just wondering if the margaritas will also be part of the program??

Rapidly expanding, fast-casual restaurantTocaya Organicaannounces the launchof Tocaya Life Foundation. The company’s new charitable arm is dedicated to social and environmental causes throughout Southern California and beyond such as sustainability, alternative farming, and ocean preservation. In line with the foundation’s debut, Tocaya Organica introduces its “Wave Tank” initiative in October as part of its ongoing mission to align with nonprofit organizations who share a commitment to the environment and bettering our planet. Similar to the concept of “Shark Tank,” Tocaya Life Foundation’s initiative will invite three nonprofits each quarter to pitch a panel comprised of the company’s executives—including President Mikey Tanha, CEO and Co-Founder Tosh Berman, Chief Operating Officer Rudy Sugueti,  Foundation Manager Jordan Yorn, and Chief Marketing Officer Matt Smith—on why Tocaya Organica should partner with their company. The first-place winner of Wave Tank will be named as the restaurant’s official partner for the upcoming quarter, during which the two companies will work together to create new dishes for Tocaya Organica or select an existing menu item, with a portion of its proceeds to be donated directly to the charity. In addition to financial donations, Tocaya Organica will also help the nonprofit grow from co-branding efforts, in-store features, and marketing content. Nonprofits that place second and third during the quarterly competition will each receive a cash donatioDear Laura,n—$10,000 and $5,000 respectively—rewarding each organization with a substantial monetary investment from Tocaya Life Foundation to kickstart their campaign and future fundraising efforts.
